Fortress Nominated for 2009 Business Achievement Award
October 30, 2009 (LONDON, Ontario) Fortress Data Vaulting, Inc. has been nominated for the prestigious London Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award.
"Being nominated is a great honour", said Sean Sweeney, President and CEO of Fortress Data Vaulting Inc. "It reinforces that we have satisfied customers and that they see our service as a valuable addition to the London business community".
The London Chamber of Commerce has been recognizing local companies for overall business excellence since 1983 with the Business Achievement Award program. Over the years, other awards have been added to the program, but the Business of the Year awards are the jewels in the crown. While the other awards may focus on a specific area of excellence, this award recognizes overall excellence. They are presented annually to two private sector companies whose business achievements have made an outstanding contribution to the London community in the past two years. The award is presented to one large business and one small business. For the purpose of this award a large business is defined as one with over 50 employees, while a small business has less than 50 employees.
