FDV provides managed, secure, encrypted Remote Backup / Archive Services (RBS and RAS); Business Recovery and Insurance Claims Kits (BRICK); Business Continuity and PIPEDA Consulting; 24/7 Service and Support in addition to a host of other services aimed at protecting our clients from unexpected business stoppages, interruptions and attacks such as fires, floods, data corruption, sabotage, viruses, hardware malfunction, lawsuits, regulatory negligence etc.
Our Mission
Our mission is to accurately assess business continuity requirements and to offer leading suggestions, solutions and services that facilitate adherence to corporate, legal and moral responsibility. This often translates to reducing operational costs, and streamlining processes while meeting increasing regulatory standards.
Management
FDV is managed and directed by Sean Sweeney. Mr. Sweeney has 16 years of experience designing and developing IT solutions. His last 6 years of traditional employment had been explicit to designing e-discovery data solutions for the North American legal industry. Due to this, he developed a familiarity with the increasing regulatory standards and requirements facing business entities today. Furthermore, having experienced a business disaster first hand and the increased foundation of a B.A. Psych. from the University of Western Ontario and the completion of the Disaster Recovery Institute’s Certified Business Continuity Management (CBCM) program, Mr. Sweeney’s experience and expertise propels the company’s mission to the highest standards.
Community
FDV is heavily involved with the London Chamber of Commerce, the TechAlliance of SouthWestern Ontario, the London Small Business Centre and numerous professional support groups to provide an accessible, comfortable platform for small to medium sized businesses to ask questions and to become more informed about the risks they are exposed to on a daily basis in addition to what options they have to eliminate, mitigate or transfer those risks.
